Samantha Scarlette is an alternative rock musician, skateboarder, and media personality hailing from New York City (Hudson Yards), no  based in Los Angeles. Originally from Saddle River, New Jerse, she began skateboarding at age 9 and first picked up a guitar at 12. A severe skateboarding accident at 19 sidelined her from the sport for the better part of a decade, prompting her shift her focus mainly on music.

Musically, Scarlette blends alternative rock, pop-punk, and 80s new wave influences, drawing inspiration from artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, The Used, and The Cure. Her discography includes multiple independent releases: 2011s Into The Darkness EP,  2014s Violent Delights + Violent Ends (produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa known for producing HIM, The 69 Eyes), and 2023s Disintegration.   In 2025 Scarlette released three singles "Fully Flared", "FlameBoy", and "DC" which are part of a TBA full lenght album tentatively titled "The Ex-Games".  

Deeply embedded in action sports, Scarlette who holds Nigerian dual citizenship from her father, serves as the Head of Public Relations & Marketing for the Roller Sports Federation of Nigeria. In this role, she leads media and sponsorship initiatives for Team Nigeria Skateboarding as they target World Skate qualification events for the LA28 Olympic Games.  Scarlette is also an athlete for Team Nigeria Skateboarding, serving as their Women's Park competitor.  She is hoping to rep Nigeria in Women's Park Skateboarding at LA28.

A film school graduate, Scarlette's background also spans broadcasting and digital media, including previously hosting the paranormal, conspiracy, true crime, spooky topic-focused radio show BLACKOUT with Samantha Scarlette on Idobi Radio. On BLACKOUT, Samantha would interview a vast array of guests such as a CERN physicist, the Church Of Satan,the head of MUFON, a member of The Manson Family, club kid mudrerer Michael Alig, people claiming to be reptilian shape shifters, etc.
